The youngster got home safely but police would like to speak to the man
Parents are being warned to be vigilant after a 13-year-old boy had to run away and hide from a man in a car, who was following him. The incident happened in Kings Sutton last Friday (October 13).
The boy had left the Co-Op store and was walking along Richmond Street at around 9.15pm. The man, from his vehicle, tried to engage the boy in conversation.
In an attempt to get away from the man the youngster sped up, but the man followed him in his car.
To lose him the boy ran down Newlands and hid on Blenheim Rise.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police told Banbury FM: “The boy was unhurt and got home safely but we would like to speak to this man so anyone with any information should contact us using reference number 23000639456.”
