Peddling to Paris for hospice

19/09/2025

The ride has already raised over £100,000

Forty-six cyclists from our area yesterday began an epic cycle ride from London to Paris – a distance of 307km.

The three-day ride, in aid of the Katharine House Hospice, set off from Tower Bridge in the capital, heading towards the south coast where they caught a ferry across the channel.

In France they will be peddling through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France before arriving at the finishing point – the Eiffel Tower.

They are due to get there tomorrow afternoon (Saturday).

Their mission has already raised over £100,000 for Katharine House, and donations can still be made via the hospice’s website.
