People braved the weather to enjoy annual Banbury Show
17/06/2024
Arena displays and vintage vehicles kept people entertained
Arena performances by the Craigscourt Gundogs and RPM Bike Displays were amongst the reasons people didn’t let the weather put them off attending the Banbury Show on Saturday.
The event, in Spiceball Park, began with an opening parade from the RAF Air Cadets.
A crew from Oxfordshire Fire Service also kept spectators enthralled as they demonstrated the process of safely removing a person from a damaged vehicle.
A selection of vintage farm vehicles were on display, with a miniature model offering rides around the park.
Live music and plenty of food and drink offerings were available and a number of the area’s charities and societies took the opportunity to engage with show visitors.
The show was organised by Banbury Town Council. Their next event will be Armed Forces Day on June 29.
