Peoples Park Stabbing: Three boys charged with attempted murder

Two of the boys are from Banbury and one from Oxford

Three boys have been charged with attempted murder after a 21-year-old man was stabbed in People’s Park in Banbury on Saturday (June 11).   A 15-year-old from Oxford and two 16-year-olds from Banbury were charged overnight.   They were due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Two other 16-year-old boys from Banbury who were arrested yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder, remain in police custody for questioning.

The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.
