Police get their man after driver gets stuck in traffic

A 50-year-old male will appear in court on April 30
Police caught a man who had been seen driving erratically in Brackley on Saturday evening after he got caught in traffic. When a vehicle directly in front came to a halt officers took their opportunity to stop the car and grab its keys.
The driver was arrested and was found to be in possession of a knife.
The incident happened at approximately 8.30pm. The vehicle was first seen heading into Brackley from the Farthinghoe direction but had failed to stop when requested by officers.
A 50-year-old man from Brackley has been charged with failing to stop for police and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. He will appear at court on April 30 and has been bailed.
Investigations continue into other offences.
