Puritans FA Cup match a sell out
30/10/2021
All tickets to watch Banbury face Barrow went within hours of going on general sale
Tickets for Banbury United’s FA Cup First Round game against Barrow have sold out. The Puritans share of the 2,400 tickets that have been made available to watch the game at Station Approach had all gone within hours of going on general sale.
A win would see history created as Andy Whing’s team progress to the club’s best ever performance in the competition. The Puritans are currently enjoying an unbeaten run of games this season.
The match takes place at 5.15pm next Saturday (November 6). Whilst the game will also be shown live on ITV4, hundreds of local people have grabbed the chance to be at the ground to experience the atmosphere.
Barrow have been allocated 360 of the 2,400 tickets and their fans will be segregated from Banbury United’s supporters.
Online ticket sales were initially offered to those who have previously booked match tickets. The priority window closed at 6pm last night (Friday) and the remaining tickets sold out within hours when going on general sale.
