Road rage assault outside Banbury McDonalds

A delivery driver intervened to stop the assault by three men

An unprovoked road rage incident outside McDonalds on the Beaumont Road in Banbury left a person requiring hospital treatment.   The incident happened in the car park on Saturday evening at around 7pm.

A delivery driver intervened to stop the attack on the victim.

Thames Valley Police believe there were a significant number of people around McDonald’s at the time and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Three suspects are being sought.   They are described as Asian males in their early 20s, two were wearing all black tracksuits and one is said to have been wearing either a traditional Jubba or Thobe.   They left the scene in a Black Volkswagen Passat. 

The Police would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time and are particularly keen to speak to the delivery driver.
