Runners taking on Banbury 5 this evening

The course loops out to Broughton across to the Bloxham Road and back into Banbury
Runners will be out around Banbury this evening for the Banbury 5 race.
Organised by Banbury Harriers Athletics Club, the race is part of a series of eight road races which make up the East Midlands Grand Prix.
Runners will set off on the 5 mile course from Browning Road at 7.45pm and follow a loop out to Broughton using the Broughton Road. From here they run across to the Bloxham Road to head back into Banbury, finishing opposite the Easington Pub.
No road closures will be in place, but drivers who will be in the area are warned to be prepared for slight delays and to be cautious of runners on the road.
Entry is available on the night for anyone who fancies the challenge. Parking is available at Wykham Park Academy.
