Serious injury collision on M40 between car and motorbike

The crash led to the closure of the northbound carriageway
Police are appealing for dashcam footage following a collision on the northbound M40 on Sunday evening. The crash happened just past Banbury’s junction 11 at around 5pm and led to the closure of the northbound carriageway.
The collision involved a red and black Yamaha R1 motorcycle and a red mini. The vehicles collided in lane three.
The motorcyclist, who’s in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital in Coventry.
Police would like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage and particularly drivers who were under taken by a motorcycle prior to junction 11.
