11/04/2024
The assault was alleged to have occurred at a private address in Banbury
A serving police officer who was charged with stalking and assault offences has been acquitted.
Twenty-three year old PC Camron Noble’s case was being heard at Northampton Magistrates’ Court.
It had been alleged that the stalking offences took place in Oxfordshire between June 17 and 21 last year. The assault was alleged to have occurred at a private address in Banbury.
Yesterday, after the prosecution case, the defence made an application that there was no case to answer. The judge agreed and acquitted PC Noble of one count of stalking without fear of violence and one count of assault by beating.
