Witness appeal after Saturday evening assault by three men

A man in his fifties sustained significant bleeding, bruises and grazes to his face after being assaulted by three other men outside St Mary’s Church in Banbury last Saturday evening (December 4).  The attack happened at around 8pm.

The man was treated at the Horton General hospital for his injuries but has subsequently been released.

The three offenders are all described as Asian men in their twenties.

Investigating officer, PC Benjamin Tims based at Banbury police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident and anyone who may have information about what happened to please come forward.
