Six charged after thefts of trailers and horseboxes

The rural crimes happened in the second half of 2021
Six men have been charged in connection with numerous thefts in rural areas across four counties, including one in North Newington.
Trailers and horseboxes were stolen during the thefts, which happened between September 3 and November 25, 2021.
Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce, officers charged William Harris (27) from Farnham Road in Petersfield (Hampshire), James Maughan (62) from Middle Ground, Wheatley, Sami Nafa (32) of Kew Bridge Road, Brentford (London), Ameet Saroay (43) from Florence Road, Southall (London), William Stokes Jr (25) of Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham and William Stokes Sr (48) also from Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham.
They are due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court on January 23.
