Bus and train users warned they could face problems with their journeys
Bus and train users are being warned their journey’s could be disrupted today.
Stagecoach buses say that due to exceptional circumstances they are unable to operate some services in town today.
- B3 reduced with service missing from 1115-1500 from Bridge Street
- B5 – operating a 20 minute service
- B9 – operating a 40 minute service
- 488 – unable to operate round trip from 1540 in Banbury
On the trains Chiltern Railways say that due to a safety inspection on the track between Leamington Spa and Banbury the line towards London is blocked.
Update 2.51pm: Train services are still severely disrupted. Rhese Banbury departures are currently the most affected:
- 13:55 Bournemouth – Late
- 14:31 Birmingham New Street – Cancelled
- 14:39 London Marylebone – Cancelled
- 14:40 Birmingham Snow Hill – Cancelled
- 14:55 Reading – Late
- 15:44 Birmingham Snow Hill – Cancelled
