Stolen scooter recovered after being ridden in Banbury park

It was taken from The Fairway

Police are investigating the theft of a motor-scooter in Banbury which was subsequently found being ridden in Princess Diana Park.

The white Honda Vision was taken from The Fairway during the early hours of this morning (Monday).

It was recovered from the park where it was being ridden.   Officers believe the scooter was likely to have been ridden by the offender in the surrounding streets.

The vehicle has registration AK65 LKU but there isn’t any description of the offender.

A police spokesperson said: “If you have any information around this incident, please contact the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting reference 43250091722 or online. 

“If you do not want to talk to the police, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
