The salon at Banbury and Bicester College will be open to the community on Thursday afternoons

People who are struggling with the cost-of-living crisis can now get their hair cut cheaply thanks to Banbury and Bicester College.   The college’s salon on Broughton Road is being opened to the community offering affordable and professional hair care and beauty treatment services each Thursday from 1.30pm to 6pm.

All work will be completed by students under the supervision of their tutors.

The Salon will offer cutting, styling and colouring services alongside a selection of beauty treatments.

Aline Venter, Beauty Teacher at Banbury and Bicester College, said: “Students are excited to be putting their skills into practice and to do their bit to support the local community.

“These services will be carried out by our Level 2 and Level 3 students, supervised by tutors. Hair services start from £4 and beauty treatments from £5.50.”

Pre-booking for all services is essential, by calling 01865 550 388.
