Sulgrave Manor holds family fun day as visitors welcomed back

The ancestral home of George Washington is set to reopen for the first time this year
Sulgrave Manor will be back open to visitors for the first time this year, from this Sunday.
To celebrate they are holding a Family Fun Day and Grand Opening.
Sunday – July the 4th – just happens to be American Independence Day and two new exhibitions are set to be unveiled at the home of George Washington’s English ancestors.
The 16th century Tudor House is also inviting visitors to enjoy their new Webster’s Tea Room.
As part of the Family Fun Day activities and a barbeque are being organised for families to enjoy.
The garden will be open from 11 on Sunday morning and the Manor from midday. Tickets need to be booked in advance but Sulgrave residents are allowed free entry.
After Sunday the gardens will be open daily from Sunday to Thursday and Sulgrave Manor itself open on Sundays and Wednesdays.
