Taster Day for potential School of Rock stars
19/03/2024
The YOBOS production will be on stage this summer
The Youth of Banbury Operatic Society plan to be back on stage this summer with “School of Rock”.
The group, which is known as the YOBOS, is holding a Taster Day this Sunday afternoon for anyone who would like to be involved in the show.
The session, at Christopher Rawlins Primary School in Adderbury, is open to anyone aged 11 to 19, whether they fancy performing on stage or working behind the scenes.
The taster day runs between 2pm and 6pm and costs £5.
Ben Coleman, Youth Officer for YOBOS, said: “We are all so excited to be bringing this incredible musical to the Banbury stage. For the past 20 years, YOBOS has staged a number of amazing productions and seen the growth of countless incredible young performers who have gone on to top drama schools and even the West End stage. We couldn’t be more proud of them and hope to invite more aspiring young performers this year to be part of School of Rock.”
