Youngsters get the chance to attend climate change focused event this Saturday at no cost
Students are being invited to take advantage of a limited number of tickets that have been made available free of charge for a TEDxBanbury event this weekend.
Following on from the COP26 Conference in Glasgow two speakers from WRAP UK will be at Lock29 on Saturday afternoon to talk about grassroot initiatives to address the climate crisis. Helen Bird, Strategic Manager for Plastics, and Keith James, Policy and Insight, will discuss how to address the climate crisis locally, nationally and globally and undertake a question and answer session.
Students aged from 16-20 years can apply for any of the 6 free tickets that have been made available by the organisers. Anyone interested should email tedxbanbury@gmail.com with their details and the name of the school or college.
