The RC Baker Tractor Run total is now £46,538 – and rising
22/12/2023
The team at Katharine House have been counting the money from 50 collection buckets since the start of the week
A new total has been revealed for this year’s RC Baker Christmas Tractor Run – an amazing £46,538 – and the money is still coming in.
Earlier this week it was announced the convoy of fairy lit tractors last weekend had already smashed a previous record for the amount raised. At the time the total stood at over £30,000.
Katharine House Hospice receive the money raised by the annual event. Since the start of the week the team there have been counting every penny donated in 50 collection buckets. This has now been added to the money donated online and by text.
The new total makes the Christmas Tractor Run one of the Hospice’s biggest fundraisers for 2023.
The organising team at RC Baker Tractor say they are absolutely delighted.
A spokesperson for Katharine House said: “We have been absolutely blown away with the support for this year’s Banbury Christmas Tractor Run – it has grown to something so incredible, and beyond anything we could ever have hoped.
“You have helped raise more than ever before – and we can’t put it into words how grateful we are to everyone who has helped make this possible.
“The BIGGEST thank you to Jennie and the RC Baker team for dreaming up something so spectacular and giving us the gift of the Tractor Run.”
