Theft of toilets from Banbury depot appears to be well organised crime

Police are investigating and hoping to hear from any witnesses
Thieves have stolen a number of portable toilets, toilet chemicals and other specialised items from the Andy Loos depot on Thorpe Way.
In what appears to be a well-organised robbery, nearby CCTV from Wednesday evening shows two or three vehicles and people involved in taking 13 portable toilets, 6 one litre bottles of toilet chemical, 2 tipping pipes, 2 five litre petrol cans and a plastic ‘wand’, which is used on the end of a vacuum hose to empty the toilets.
The company believes the thieves were on-site during the early evening between 6.30pm and 7.15pm and came prepared with their own toilet mover trolley.
Amy Philpot from Andy Loos said: “Given the smaller items the thieves stole as well as the toilets themselves, the type of vehicles they used and even bringing their own toilet mover trolley, it’s obvious that they are familiar with the portable toilet industry”
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson told Banbury FM: “We can confirm an investigation is under way following a burglary in which portaloos, chemical fuel and piping were stolen.
“It was reported to the force yesterday morning and occurred at some stage overnight between 8th January and yesterday (9th January).
“Anyone with any information or who believes they witnessed the incident is urged to contact 101, quoting reference 43250012480.”
