Criminal damage, assault and public order offences were noted by police
Three young people have been arrested by police following reports of youths committing criminal damage, assault and public order offences around Banbury.
A number of incidents are understood to have occurred on Thursday afternoon and evening.
Social media posts circulated of young people causing trouble in a number of locations including Longford Park, at local supermarkets and Banbury Gateway retail park.
Banbury Neighbourhood Policing Team issued a statement shortly after 10pm saying that they had arrested three young people and that they were being held in custody.
Officers are asking anyone who has any footage of the group, or information, to contact them on 101.
