Town Hall Tea Dance tops up Mayor’s money for local charities
07/03/2024
An afternoon of teas, time on the dancefloor and top company
An afternoon of music, dance and delicious teas at Banbury Town Hall last weekend raised cash for two local charities whilst providing a enchanting afternoon for all those who attended.
The event was organised by Banbury Town Council’s civic department as part of Councillor Fiaz Ahmed’s Mayoral year. The Mayor’s Tea Dance brought together residents of all ages, dressed in their finest attire, to enjoy time on the dancefloor and in good company.
Money from the event will be donated to Dogs for Good and Katharine House Hospice.
Councillor Ahmed said: “This event truly showcased the strength and generosity of our community. I’m immensely grateful to everyone who attended and backed our initiatives to raise funds for local charities.
“Together, we’re making a positive difference and spreading hope within our community.”
