Villagers unhappy with “ridiculous behaviour”
Troublemakers have spoilt a popular book lending facility in Kings Sutton.
Late on Sunday morning a number of books were found strewn around the village’s bus stop library. Some had been damaged.
The library is overseen by the Parish Council with a warden taking care of the facility on a day-to-day basis. A large number of books are available in the bus stop, with villagers borrowing those of interest without charge.
Its believed the damage occurred during a short period between 11am and midday.
A post on the village’s community social media page reporting the issue, concluded: “It’s time we stand up as a community and stomp out this ridiculous behaviour.”
