Rugby Club member aims to complete 100 laps of the club in memory of her late husband, a former club president
Trudy Boyle has been spending September running for a century. She set herself a challenge of completing 100 laps of Banbury Rugby Club during the month to help raise money for the Katharine House Hospice.
Last night Mrs Boyle was joined by other club members on their training night as she completed more laps towards her total.
The challenge is in memory of her late husband Steve, who passed away in June 2018. He spent the last 2 weeks of his life being looked after at the Hospice.
Mr Boyle was a former President of the club and Mrs Boyle has had numerous roles with the club over the years.
When Mrs Boyle has completed her 100 laps she will have run around 120km in total. You can support her fund-raising initiative here.
