Two charged with manslaughter following July unexplained death

Two people have been charged with manslaughter as police continue to investigate the death of the managing director of Banbury company CN Glass.
Officers were called to Hazeldene Gardens in Banbury on Sunday 13 July after a member of the public reported an unresponsive man at a property. 37-year-old Gary Mouat was later pronounced dead.
The death was initially investigated as an unexplained death, but as evidence came to light, the investigation became a manslaughter case.
A post mortem has taken place but the cause of death is currently unascertained, pending further investigation.
At the start of this month police arrested 29-year-old Madalin Dumitru and 30-year-old Adina Mihai, who are both from Sandway Gardens in Birmingham. They were both charged with one count of manslaughter, one count of conspiring to commit robbery and one count of administering poison with intent to endanger life / inflict grievous bodily harm.
Dumitru and Mihai are both Romanian nationals.
They are due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on September 5.
Thames Valley Police says Mr Mouat’s next of kin are being supported by Family Liaison Officers.
