Six people have already been charged with murder following the death of two Banbury men
Another two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal collision on the A46 in Leicestershire, which claimed the lives of two Banbury men last month.
The latest arrests are two men aged 22 and 27, both from Leicester. They currently remain in police custody.
Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin, both aged 21, died following a collision which happened at around 1.30am on February 11.
The silver Skoda Fabia with Mr Hussain and Mr Ijazuddin inside left the carriageway during the collision. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Six people have already been charged with murder in connection with the incident. The three women and three men are Natasha Akhtar, 21, of Alum Rock Road, Birmingham ; Ansreen Bukhari, 45, and Mahek Bukhari, 22, both of George Eardley Close, Stoke, Raees Jamal, 21, of Lingdale Close, Loughborough, Rekan Karwan, 28, of Tomlin Road, Leicester and Mohammed Patel, 20, of Braybrooke Road, Leicester. All six have been remanded into custody.
