Two hospitalised after collision at Williamscott Hill

Both sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries

Two people are in hospital following a collision on the A361 north of Banbury yesterday evening (Wednesday).

A blue Ford Focus and a blue Audi TT were involved in the crash on the Williamscott Hill, between Wardington and the M40, at around 7.20pm.

The Audi was travelling towards the motorway and the Focus in the opposite direction towards Chipping Warden.

A man in his forties was driving the Focus and the Audi was driven by a woman in her thirties.   Both sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries, and remain in hospital.

Investigating officer PC Robert Crofts of the Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing to anybody who was driving in the area at the time of this collision and witnessed the incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“If you have dash-cam footage which has captured the collision or the moments leading up to it, please contact us.
