Two in court following weapons offences at Banbury Fair

A Section 60 order was put in place following the incidents on Friday
Police investigating incidents of disorder and reports of fights with weapons at Banbury Fair on Friday night have charged two men with weapons offences.
Nineteen-year-old Moheez Hussain, of Chatsworth Drive was charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Ammar Hussain, who’s also 19 and from The Fairway was charged with the same offence, along with threatening a person with a blade / sharply pointed article in a public place.
Both were due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
A third person, a 15-year-old boy, was also arrested but was subsequently released on police bail.
In response to what happened on Friday a Section 60 stop and search order was put in place, covering the town centre.
