The red Audi drove off at high speed when it saw the police
Two men ran off after they abandoned the car they had been seen driving at high speed to evade police in Brackley. The red Audi has now been seized and officers are asking for our help to identify the two individuals.
The vehicle was seen by police near to the Leisure Centre on Thursday (April 21). When the occupants saw the police car they made off at high speed. The car was subsequently found in Hanover Drive. Local residents said that two males had been seen running away from it into the nearby playing field.
Vehicle checks revealed the car had no insurance, tax or MOT. The car’s tyres were also illegal with the cord exposed.
Inside, the occupants had left the remains of a crate of lager.
Anyone who can help identify the two males, or who has information which could help officers in their enquiries, is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting reference 22000225768.
