Two men arrested after collision leaves cyclist hospitalised in serious collision

Roads were closed through the night as police investigation work took place
A cyclist is in hospital in a serious condition following a collision on the Southam Road in Banbury last night. Two men have been arrested.
Hennef Way and the Southam Road remained closed through Friday morning whilst investigation work was completed. These roads have now reopened.
Thames Valley Police were called at 11.39pm last night (October 23) to reports of fear for the welfare of a man in the area. When officers arrived they found that a collision had occurred involving a vehicle and a cyclist.
A 24-year-old man and 21-year-old man, both from Banbury, were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle dangerously. They remain in police custody.
