Users of popular skatepark warned of health and safety issue

Glass has been found in the mounds to the side of the construction

Users of Brackley’s new skatepark are being asked to stay off the mounds to the side of the construction after glass was found in the soil.

Brackley Town Council have placed signs in the affected area and say the construction company – Maverick Skateparks – aim to resolve the issue.

The skatepark has been open for just under two weeks and has proven extremely popular.

The facility remains usable with just the affected area out of bounds.   A spokesperson for Brackley Town Council said: “Your safety is our top priority.”
