Vandalism in Brackley over the weekend
13/09/2022
“Vandalism like this is always disappointing for our town and community”
Brackley Town Council is having to deal with two acts of vandalism that happened in the town last weekend. It’s the second time in a month that problems have occurred.
In the toilet block at the top of the Market Place a lock on one of the cubicles in the male toilets was damaged. Meanwhile in Egerton Field offensive graffiti was daubed at the play area.
Both incidents have been reported to the police.
The Town Council’s grounds team worked to remove the graffiti yesterday and arrangements have been made for repairs at the toilet block.
A spokesperson for the Town Council said: “Yet again, as stated last month, vandalism like this is always disappointing for our town and community.
“If you hear or see anything suspicious, please call the Police or contact us here at Brackley Town Council.”
