Sulgrave’s community shop and post office was targeted early on Saturday morning
Thieves used a vehicle to wrench the door off a village’s community shop and post office before making off with the shop till. They failed in their attempt to use the vehicle to steal the business’ safe.
Sulgrave Village Shop was targeted between 1.00 and 1.20am on Saturday morning (February 5).
Northamptonshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, along with anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage which may be useful.

Sulgrave’s shop is a not-for-profit venture, staffed largely by volunteers. It provides daily essentials and a range of special items including those usually found in a delicatessen. The village’s Post Office is housed within the shop and open from Tuesdays to Friday.
