Volunteers sought for roles at annual Hospice fundraiser
07/02/2023
A raft of jobs need covering off at Katharine House’s popular Moonlight Walk
Katharine House is looking for volunteers to help with this year’s Moonlight Walk – and its not just for the day of the event. The Hospice’s biggest annual fundraiser will take place on Saturday May 20, this year with a theme of “going to the movies”.
By volunteering people can help keep down the costs for organising the event, thereby raising more money for Katharine House.
Ahead of the event they are looking for people to help promoting the Moonlight Walk by delivering flyers. A raft of jobs on the day includes setting up the signage along the route, marshalling the car park and route checkpoints and handing out running packs at the start line. There are also roles for those who can help with catering support and providing entertainment.
