Gusts of around 50mph can be expected
A yellow weather warning has been issued for strong winds in our area as Storm Eowyn arrives in the UK.
Winds are likely to build as we head towards the evening, but the warning is in force from 5am tomorrow morning until 3 o’clock on Friday afternoon.
During this time gusts of around 50mph can be expected, especially during the breakfast period.
Heavy rain is also predicted overnight.
The worst of the storm is expected to hit northern England and parts of Scotland.
