Weekend rail service disruption

Lines to the north and south will be affected
Rail users are being told to plan their journeys ahead of a number of weekends of disruption to local train services.
This Saturday and Sunday engineering works between Banbury and Leamington mean that a replacement bus service will be in operation.
For those heading south Oxford train station will be closed for the next four weekends. Buses will once again transport passengers between Banbury and Oxford. The work is the first part of a £161m redevelopment of Oxford station that will see it expanded with an additional platform and track, a new entrance, and the provision of extra train services for the city.
