The role is ideal for people who have an interest in museum collections and their conservation

Sulgrave Manor is looking for volunteers to help with a deep clean of the building and its artefacts over the coming months.

Built by the ancestors of the first American president George Washington, the Manor will be closed to the public from November until next March.

During that time they are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support their Collections Team in carrying out a deep clean of their historic objects and the buildings.

They say the role is ideal for people who have an interest in museum collections and their conservation.   Any volunteers will need to be able to give up at least one day per fortnight through the period.
