Winter Wish Land with a visit from Santa at Castle Quay from this weekend
28/11/2024
A late night shopping event is also lined up next Thursday
The Winter Wish Land returns to Castle Quay from this weekend.
The free-to-visit attraction offers children a chance to explore a charming festive forest filled with wintery creatures and twinkling holiday magic. Youngsters can write and post their Christmas letters in a magical post box.
To launch the festivities there will be a chance to meet Santa this Saturday and Sunday with children able to share their Christmas wishes with the big man. He will be there from 11am to 4pm and no booking is required but visits are available on a first come first served basis.
The Winter Wish Land will be situated near to JD Sports and open daily from Saturday until Christmas Eve.
Visitors are also invited to the centre’s Shop & Sip evening gift event next Thursday (December 5) from 4pm to 7pm. The festive evening of relaxed, late-night shopping offers an opportunity for shoppers to find unique gifts and enjoy live carol singing, with exclusive giveaways and a chance to win a special holiday surprise. Car parking will be free from 4pm.
Oliver Wren, Centre Director at Castle Quay Shopping Centre said, “Our shoppers absolutely loved our Winter Wish Land last year, so we had to bring it back! Having a free, festive, family destination within heart of Banbury was really appreciated by local families. We encourage everyone to make Castle Quay their number one Christmas destination this year—there’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re shopping, dining, finding the perfect gift, or simply soaking up the festive fun.”
