Female in her 80s remains in the John Radcliffe hospital after Monday lunchtime incident
A woman in her eighties is in hospital with serious injuries after her mobility scooter was involved in a collision with a motorbike in Banbury on Monday lunchtime. The collision took place on Edmunds Road at the junction of Goulds Villas.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The motorbike involved in the incident was a white Kawasaki. The woman was riding a mobility scooter at around 1.25pm when the collision happened.
The victim remains in the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries.
PC Matt Watson, from the Roads Policing Unit, based at Bicester Howes Lane police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident who has not already come forward to the police, or anyone with dash-cam footage relating to it, to please get in touch.
