Woman in eighties has serious injuries after A43 collision

The crash happened between the Croughton and Baynards Green roundabouts
A witness appeal has been launched after a woman in her eighties sustained serious injuries in a collision on the A43 in the runup to Christmas.
The collision occurred at around 3.40pm on Saturday 23 December between the Croughton and Baynards Green roundabouts.
A grey Audi and a white Volvo SUV were involved.
The woman driving the Audi sustained the serious injuries. She is recovering in hospital. The driver of the Volvo was not injured but was taken to hospital as a precaution and later discharged.
Investigating officer PC Brian Perry of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this collision in which a woman has received serious injuries.
“As such we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this collision or anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to please come forward.
