Walk-in vaccination clinic closes early after demand greater that expected
The demand from 16 and 17 year olds to get vaccinated against COVID exceeded the anticipated levels at the walk-in Vaccination Clinic at Banbury United’s ground on Sunday.
The Grab a Jab session had been due to run until 6pm but the vaccination team ran out of vaccine after more young people turned up than had been expected.
Just after 2pm the clinic closed thanking all those who had attended and saying it had proven very popular.
Walk-in vaccination clinics for 16 and 17 year olds are running all this week at Oxford United’s ground – The Kassam Stadium – on the eastern side of Oxford. They are open daily from 9.30 each morning through to 7pm.
