Flooding

Sor Brook and The Bloxham Brook and their tributaries: Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high and near to being full as a result of Storm Dennis. With further heavy rainfall forecast over the next 24 hours it is expected that water levels will continue to rise. Incident response staff are in the area clearing weed/trash screens.

River Cherwell from Charwelton to just above Upper Heyford: Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high in the Upper River Cherwell especially around Woodford Halse and are forecast to rise further along the length of the Cherwell as a result of Storm Dennis. Flooding of low-lying land, footpaths and roads is possible today on Sunday especially in the Hinton and Woodford Halse areas.
