Three men being sought after unprovoked attack
A man needed hospital treatment after being assaulted by three males in Banbury on Thursday evening. The attack took place on Gillett Road at around 10.30pm.
The victim sustained a one inch puncture wound to his upper left arm during the attack, which happened outside one of the properties on the street. He was treated at hospital but has since been discharged.
Thames Valley Police say the three offenders are described as white males and they were all armed with weapons. Officers are appealing for anyone with any dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time to get in contact.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Joseph Stevenson said: “We are conducting a thorough investigation into this unprovoked attack on a young man. We are talking to local residents to take witness statements as well as obtaining and reviewing CCTV”.
