Man arrested after seizure of “substantial amount” of drugs

Class A and B drugs found during car stop and house search in The Fairway
A Banbury man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs following the discovery of what officers have described as “a substantial quantity” of illegal substances.
Thames Valley Police stopped a vehicle in Banbury’s Cromwell Road just after 1.15pm on Monday afternoon (6th July 2020). They discovered a large quantity of Class A drugs inside the vehicle which were being transited into the town.
An address in The Fairway, Banbury, was subsequently searched as a part of the investigation where further “substantial” quantities of drugs were found.
A 39 year old male from Banbury was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs of class A and class B. He has been released on police bail until 3rd August.
