Anyone interested in living in the development on the edge of Bretch Hill can now register their interest

The site of the old Admiral Holland pub at the corner of Woodgreen Avenue and The Fairway will soon become home to a number of families and individuals. Anyone interested in living in Admiral Holland Close will soon be able to view and register their interest.

Seven of the homes will be available for shared ownership. This includes one three-bedroom house and six one-bedroom apartments. Enquiries about these properties can be emailed to build@cherwell-dc.gov.uk, with bookings available very soon.

A further seven two-bedroom properties will be available for affordable rent via the housing register. Once they are completed these will be available to view on the Council’s choice-based lettings system at www.cherwell-homechoice.org.uk.

Admiral Holland Close has been created by Cherwell’s Build! team. All the homes have a high level of insulation in the walls and roofs, double glazing, and solar panels.

Build! Is an initiative by Cherwell District Council created to look at alternative ways to deliver affordable homes for local people. To date Build! has provided over 260 homes across the Cherwell district. Properties are available to rent through the Council’s Choice Based Lettings scheme for people who are on the housing register. Anyone wishing to buy can do so through the government’s shared ownership scheme, subject to eligibility.
