Organisers: “we have taken advice and it is deemed that we should err on the side of caution in these challenging times”
An attempt to bring back buying and selling opportunities for car booters and table top sellers has been been withdrawn. The innovative “walking garage and car boot sale” was planned for Sunday 27th, but organisers have decided to cancel after taking advice.
Writing on Facebook they said, “It is with regret that we have had to postpone the planned walking garage and car boot sale planned for September 27th.
“Whilst [other] villages have held similar events we have taken advice and it is deemed that we should [err] on the side of caution in these challenging times.
“Those organising the event were doing so in good faith as volunteers. We have been amazed at the interest and the number of bookings received so will look to run the event when it is safe to do so”.
