The Banbury BID team have released a new video showing the transformation in St Mary’s churchyard after the area became the latest focus for their Be Clean project.   As Banbury FM previously reported, the work took place on September 8th.

For the Be Clean project Banbury BID has partnered with Kärcher Center Banbury to spruce up a number of areas of the town centre.

The Kärcher team used their hot water trailer pressure washer and battery powered KM 85 / 50 sweeper for the work.

St Mary’s Churchwarden Mary Parker said, “A morning’s hard work has resulted in the paving to the front of the church looking brighter and cleaner than it has for years.  Well done to all of you for your efforts, which I am sure will be noted and appreciated by many people as they walk through the churchyard”.

Tom Mitchell, Kärcher Center Banbury Manager, said: “Here at Kärcher Center Banbury, we wanted to do all we can to support our local town and help make a difference with the array of different cleaning solutions that Kärcher has to offer. We are proud to be working with Banbury BID in an effort to clean up Banbury town and make visitors feel safe and confident in returning.

“The whole team at Kärcher Center Banbury are really pleased with the results from our latest clean at St Mary’s Church and the difference we have made to the only Grade 1 listed building in Banbury, making it a much cleaner space for all those that visit.”
