Nightly light show to usher in 2021 in Banbury
The countdown to 2021 has begun with the latest seasonal film debuting in Cornhill. The New Year themed light show is being projected onto the Castle Quay Shopping Centre in Cornhill nightly through the New Year period.
The show will be visible from dusk until late every evening and follows the very popular Christmas projection that has been shown for the last few weeks.
The latest projection will run until January 5. It features firework-style celebrations with clips of local people, local heroes and local businesses.
The films have been specially designed to fit the ornate stonework of the Castle Quay entrance in Cornhill at the Parson’s Street end of the Market Place. They have been organised by Banbury BID and sponsored by Banbury Town Council and Castle Quay.
