Sessions will help young people build resilience, confidence and develop skills
A series of wellbeing and practical skills workshops are being organised for 15 to 21 year olds in our area. The sessions will include one to one support to help young people build resilience, confidence and develop skills.
Banbury Young Homelessness Project have organised the sessions, which start next Wednesday lunchtime at the Hill Community Centre in Bretch Hill.
The workshops will give anyone attending access to specialised support and help them develop techniques to manage their emotions.
Support in applying for jobs of further education places will be provided in areas such as creating a CV or personal statement and how to handle an interview.
Dealing with money, communication skills and managing anxiety will also be covered.
The sessions will be free and offered in a relaxed and non-judgemental environment. There’s more details on the Banbury Young Homelessness Facebook page.
