Metal poles used by burglars to smash entry into property
The residents of a property in Mold Crescent in Banbury have been left very shaken after burglars smashed their way into their house using metal poles. The victims were at home at the time.
The robbery happened between 3.45 and 4.05am last Thursday morning (April 15). Metal poles were used to smash down the victim’s front door.
Thames Valley Police say the residents of the property were home at the time and are very shaken by the incident.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A statement issued this morning said: “We appreciate due to the time of the offence there may not have been many people around, but if you were in that area at the time and think you may have seen something suspicious please come forward.
“Likewise, if you were driving in the area and have a dash cam, please review the footage.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call the police on 101 and quote reference number 43210157919.
